Purpose
The California Lottery (Lottery) will conduct a Hot Spot/Bulls-Eye increased prize promotion to increase sales, reward players, and stimulate interest in the game. During the promotion period, the typical prize amounts for the Bulls-Eye will be increased. This promotion is subject to these official rules and requirements in addition to state and federal law and the California Lottery’s Regulations. 

Terms of Promotion
This promotion will start at 12:00am on Sunday, March 1st 2026 and end at 2:00 am on Wednesday, April 15th 2026. This promotion will run during normal business hours at every available Hot Spot retailer. Draws will take place every four minutes from 6:04 am to 2:00 am.

The Lottery reserves the right to terminate, modify, or extend this promotion at any time.

Eligibility And Promotion
Typical prize amounts will be increased automatically for certain Bulls-Eye prize divisions.  Players must add a qualifying Bulls-Eye wager to their Hot Spot plays to be eligible. Advance Play® tickets for draws held during the promotion period of Sunday March 1st to Wednesday April 15th, are eligible to win certain increased prizes only if the draws occur during the specific promotional time period.  The odds of winning any Hot Spot prize will not be affected by this promotion.  Winners will be notified and will collect their increased prizes in the same manner that all prizes are claimed, following Lottery regulations and procedures.

All tickets, transactions, and winners are subject to federal and state law, California Lottery regulations, procedures, directives, and these official rules.  Participants agree to the use of their names and/or likenesses for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation. The Hot Spot/Bulls-Eye increased prize promotion is available at all Hot Spot retailers. Existing retailer responsibilities and compensation are unaffected by this promotion.

Q. What is the HOT SPOT® promotion?
A. Every day from March 1 to April 15 during this promotion period, any Hot Spot Bulls-Eye tickets will have a chance at winning increased prize amounts. Players must purchase a Hot Spot play and add a qualifying Bulls-eye wager to be eligible for increased prizes. 

Q. When will this promotion begin and end?
A. This promotion will start at midnight on Sunday, March 1st 2026 and end at 2:00 am on Wednesday, April 15th 2026. The Lottery retains the right to terminate, modify or extend the promotion at any time.

Q. Will all Hot Spot prizes be increased?
A. All Bulls-eye prizes will be increased during this promotion. Hot Spot Bulls-eye promotional details and rules are available at calottery.com.

Q. Do players need to do anything special to qualify for these increased prizes?
A. Players must add a qualifying Bulls-eye wager to their Hot Spot plays to be eligible for the increased Bulls-eye prizes. 

Q. When are the draws?
A. Draws take place every 4 minutes from 6:04 a.m. PT to 2:00 a.m. PT. Winning numbers are posted on the internet at calottery.com/draw-games, on the Lottery’s mobile app or you can scan the barcode at any Lottery retailer.

Q. How will players know how much they have won?
A. Use any of these ways to see if you’re a draw game winner:
*Look on the Lottery website for winning numbers and prize amounts.
*Download the Lottery mobile app to see winning numbers.
*Scan tickets using Check-A-Ticket on the mobile app
